Kitchen Display System (KDS) & Workstation Screen

Overview

The Kitchen Display System (KDS) (/sales/kitchen-display) is a real-time order preparation board designed for restaurants, cafes, bakeries, or custom assembly workstations.

Key Capabilities

1. Ticket Kanban Columns:

   • Pending / In Queue (New orders flashing with elapsed timer).
   • Preparing / In Progress (Active preparation).
   • Ready for Pickup / Dispatch (Notifies service staff or driver).
   • Completed (Archived ticket).

2. Real-Time Synchronous Updates:

   • As soon as a cashier hits Checkout in POS or an online customer places an order on the storefront, the ticket appears instantly on the preparation board with audio notifications.

3. Item Modification & Special Instructions:

   • Line-item notes (e.g. No onions, Extra packaging, Gift wrapped) are prominently highlighted in yellow callout boxes.
