Shipments & Delivery Tracking

Overview

The Shipments module (/sales/shipments) manages physical fulfillment, packing slips, courier assignments, and delivery tracking.

Fulfillment Workflow

1. Order Dispatching:
   • Assign pending orders to third-party couriers (e.g. FedEx, DHL, UPS, Local Delivery).
2. Tracking Number Logging:
   • Enter tracking codes to automatically notify the customer with parcel tracking links.
3. Delivery Status Stepper:
   • Ordered → Packed → Shipped / In Transit → Delivered.
4. Packing Slip Generation:
   • One-click printing of warehouse packing slips listing item locations and quantities.
