Multi-Tenant Plans, Subscriptions & Invoicing

The Multi-Tenant Billing System allows the SuperAdmin to manage subscription plans, define granular system feature access, enforce usage limits, and enables tenants to upgrade or switch plans with automatic invoicing and PDF receipt generation.

Key Capabilities

1. SuperAdmin Plan Builder (/admin/plans):

   • Create custom subscription plans (e.g. Starter, Professional, Enterprise).
   • Configure Monthly and Yearly pricing in USD.
   • Set strict Usage Limits:
     • Maximum Users allowed (e.g. 5, 25, Unlimited ∞).
     • Maximum Products allowed in inventory (e.g. 500, 5000, Unlimited ∞).
     • Maximum Storage in Megabytes (MB).
   • 23-Feature Access Checklist: Enable or disable specific system modules for each plan (POS, E-Commerce Storefront, Online Orders, Quotations, HRM & Attendance, WooCommerce Integration, Real-time Sales Counter, Kitchen Display System, Shipments, etc.).

2. Dynamic Feature Gating in Sidebar:

   • When a tenant subscribes to a plan, the sidebar automatically inspects the active plan's feature list and dynamically hides or displays modules according to what is included in their plan.

3. Tenant Billing Dashboard (/billing):

   • View current active plan name, status badge (Active, Trial, Pending, Canceled), billing cycle, start date, end date, and days remaining.
   • Real-time Usage Meters: Visual progress bars showing current usage vs plan quota for Users, Products, and Storage.

4. Plan Switcher / Upgrade Flow (/billing/change-plan):

   • Compare all available platform tiers side by side.
   • Interactive Monthly / Yearly toggle with a Save 17% discount badge for annual commitments.
   • Interactive confirmation modal with instant checkout gateway selection (Stripe, PayPal, Bank Transfer).

5. Invoices & Payment History (/billing/invoices & /admin/invoices):

   • Automatic invoice generation upon plan creation or upgrade with unique invoice numbers (e.g. INV-2026-0001).
   • Detailed invoice breakdown: Plan name, Billing period, Payment method, and Paid status.
   • One-click Print / Save as PDF invoice receipts matching corporate accounting standards.
   • Platform-wide SuperAdmin invoice audit view across all tenant organizations.

SuperAdmin Subscriptions Management (/admin/subscriptions)

SuperAdmin can oversee and manage all active tenant subscriptions:

• Search and filter subscriptions by tenant business name, email, or plan.
• Manually activate pending subscriptions.
• Cancel or suspend delinquent accounts.
• View subscription start and renewal end dates.
